Dualism and non-dualism – 1

The philosophy of non-dualism rests on the principle that tells us to get rid of problematic instrument all together, which is mind in this case. Once mind is killed, you will not experience any sorrow and that removal of pains, sufferings, and desires gives you a sort of pleasure which you would never want to let go. Thus you are trapped for time infinite.
The philosophy of divine love rests on the principle of transformation of mind from material to divine. In this way you experience happiness continuously, which actually depends on state of your mind just before the transformation. Therefore you will notice there are many categories of saints, all of them have infinite happiness but their individual experience varies. Whatever is state of other saints, whether above in the hierarchy or below, doesn’t bother you at all. Nevertheless quality of your happiness is definitely inferior to the ones that are at higher level.
