MY MOTHER”S HAND”S PARATHAS & ROTIS PART ONE
I am a doctor practising in Delhi for last 2 years , I did not get the opportunity to eat my mother’s hand made food & I am very much missing her for that . My mother stays in Andhra pradesh . She makes lovely food & especially some types of rotis & parathas which are too delicious. This time when I went to my house I asked my mother to give some of her receipes so that I can publish on net & other peope can too try out the same .
MOOLI JOWAR ATTAE KI ROTI
FOR 4 ROTIS
– 1/4 CUP JOWAR AATA
-1/4 CUP WHEAT AATA
1/2 CUP GRATED RED RADISH ALONG WITH THE LEAVES
1 TEASPOON CHILLI POWDER
1 TABLESPOON GHEE
SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE
MAKE A SOFT DOUGH WITH THE INGREDIENTS. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO 4 EQUAL PORTIONS & SLOWLY ROLL OUT EACH PORTION INTO A MEDIUM SIZED ROTI . THAN HEAT THE TAVA & & & COOK THE ROTIS BY APPLYING LITTLE GHEE ON EACH SDE OF THE ROTI , REMOVE THE ROTI FROM THE TAVA WHEN IT IS SLIGHTLY BROWN IN COLOUR & THERE ARE SMALL BROWN SPOTS ON THE SURFACE OF ROTI . THE ROTI CAN BE RELISHED WITH GURD OR MIRCHI PICKLE.
