“Welcome” is the recent comedy movie one can watch. The music of the film was disappointing and “Uncha Lamba Kad” is the only song which I can say is a hit song. Anees Bazmee is the Director cum writer of this movie.
Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Feroz khan and Paresh Rawal are the main characters in this movie. The comedy of all the actors was cool in my opinion. The promotion of this movie is done in a big way but this movie’s performance at box office was not up to the level of Om Shanti Om nor is it as bad as No Entry.
The funny Don role which was given to Anil Kapoor is rocking to me. Akshay Kumar in my opinion is not good for comic roles. His performance was boring and sick. Paresh Rawal was cool in his performance as usual and Feroz khan justified his role. Katrina Kaif’s role was nothing special and her performance was below average. Mallika Sherawat had performed superbly to her small role in this movie.
The movie overall rating is 5 out of 10 in my opinion.
I saw this movie off-and-on. I liked it. A comedy all right. But the name “Welcome” does not suit to the story. “Don’s Sister” could have been the better name.

i did not like the movie but only I liked few songs..actually I do not understand why producers & directors make a movie with so many actors…?
A good movie to watch.The title was named “Welcome” because “Everybody was invited to do marriage with Don’s Sister but no one was coming.And another reason is in last Firoz Khan says in movie “Dulhan ki tarah saja do shaher ko”means all people might be invited in marriage.
