Clean up the city with Sheriff

Few months back Indu Shahani was appointed as Mumbai’s sheriff. She is the HR college’s principal.

After watching the people who spits anywhere in between the road as if the city is the dirty wash basin, she is planning to form volunteers group which will patrol around the city armed with whistle who will spread the clean up msg and will not allow anyone to spit and litter anywhere in the road .

The Sheriff not only wants the students of her coll to involve but also the city members to involve in this process of clean up.

Anyone can register as volunteer by filling in an applicattion form available on www.cleanmumbaicity.org. or it can b enrolled directly calling BMC on 9869119015. They cxan read the rules to b followed on the site itself.

It is not a great deal by starting such programmes but the main thing is its implementation and making people aware about the hazards of doing all the dirty things on the road.
