ZAHEER KHAN-INJURY WOES CONTINUE!

FOR ZAHEER KHAN,IT SEEMS AS IF THE INJURIES WON”T EVER STOP.HE HAD RECENTLY MADE A COMEBACK INTO THE TEAM AFTER A LONG SPAN OF BAD PERFORMANCE AND RECOVERY FROM THE INJURY AND GUESS WHAT,HE HAS ONCE AGAIN GOT INTO TROUBLE AND HE HAD RECENTLY GONE BACK FROM THE AUSTRALIA”S TOUR AFTER JUST PLAYING ONE TEST MATCH.
NOW THE LATEST ON HIM IS THAT HE WON”T BE FIT TILL THE SOUTH AFRICA TEST SERIES STARTING ON 26TH OF THIS MONTH.SO THAT MEANS MISSING OUT ON ANOTHER TEST SERIES BECAUSE OF SERIOUS INJURY PROBLEMS.
I THINK THE INJURIES ARE TOO COMMON IN INDIAN PLAYERS.THERE ARE SO MANY INSTANCES TO QUOTE WHEN THE PERFORMING PLAYERS HAVE HAD TO MISS OUT ON COMPLETE TOURS BECAUSE OF INJURIES.THE OUTGOING TEAM PHYSIO HAS BEEN HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS,BUT FRANKLY SPEAKING,I DON”T THINK THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER MAN THAN HIM.HE HANDLED THE JOB VERY WELL.IF THE PLAYERS AREN”T READY TO REMAIN FIT,WHAT CAN THE PHYSIO DO?
THE INDIAN TEAM IS SURELY GOING TO MISS THAT MAN.HOPE THE BCCI FINDS A GOOD REPLACEMENT AND INJURY ISSUES ARE MINIMISED.

    Hello,

Without zaheer khan, the team has already performed reasonably well in the recent Australia tour, when they beat them in the most feared test pitch. They have already located good bowlers in Ishant Sharma and Praveen kumar.

A small correction to your title. It should hav been “woes” instead of “vows”

    Woe – is misery
    Vow – is Promise

In India we still have to get good fitness and training guidance to be able to remain fit.It is only when a player becomes succesful he gets to know the real meening of fitness and the professional training that goes with it.Most of of our best players are just born that way and are not who they are because they have been coached and trained to remain fit
