Handle an autocratic boss


I think with autocratic personas at the work place it may often be done due to insecurities, as previously stated. For this reason it might be a wise approach to have a professional conversation that revolves around making ur boss feel comfortable. Providing a positive statement about a program he/she facilitated or implemented, then hone in on the area of focus you need to have adjusted for better productivity on your part as well as the staff. Likely if the autocratic approach is not working with you, it is not working with others. Make the person feel comfortable with the dialogue and show you yourself are open to learning and would gladly hope that of the organization you work with. This part does not need to be said, rather shown in your actions and sincerity to make the work place a more productive and safe environment for all involved.
