I know seeing One Big Family is very rare these days and nowadays it is hard to see a family live life together. Because in each house someone or other would have settled in Aboard.

He didn’t like the curry & he didn’t like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard... not like his mother used to make.
I didn’t prepare the coffee right & he didn’t like the stew.

I opened the newspaper and went straight to the ‘Appointments’ section. I ticked all the ads that published posts for engineers.

Key to successful relationships

‘Ek beti ke bina insaan ki, khas kar ke aadmi ki , zindagi adhuri hai.’ (Human life, particularly of a man, is incomplete without having a daughter). These were the words uttered by the renowned poet, writer and thinker Javed Akhtar during one of his TV appearances recently. He was speaking in the context of the status of the girl child in contemporary Indian society.

The Academic Brilliance
Sonu (Name changed) the youngest son amongst a large family of 2 elder brothers, 3 elder sister and a younger sister, was a brilliant boy academically. He finished his engineering from a leading university with honors. He had dreams of pursuing his master from some university in the US. His parent though aged at that time, was quite independent.

The Family

Marriage is a social Institution which is accepted by most of the societies in the world. However there are few societies which accept ' Live In Relation ' . In European countries ' Live In Relationships ' are very common. Two people of opposite gender freely live under one roof , they share their emotions , satisfy sexual urges and even give birth to child without getting married.In India and other Asian countries Live In Relationships are not socially accepted but still there are individuals who choose this type of relationship.

When I was a child we played a game called, Pass It On. You may remember it too. One person whispers something in your ear and you pass it on to the next person. By the time a simple phrase has reached the end of the line it sounds like something totally different. It was fun. Passing it on isn't fun when it comes to depression.

Today I'm not reviewing anything but am writing about how happy I feel about expecting my first granddaughter. The baby is due on May the 20th so it's getting really close to time for her birthday. Our family has a lot of birthdays to celebrate in the month of May. This will be a wonderful addition.

Her name will be Cecilia Marie and she will be called Ceci. Her Daddy is my second oldest son who is a teacher. Her Mom has the same name I do, Susan. This is their first child and it's my second grandchild. I have a grandson who is eleven.

Grandchildren are so very special. My grandson has been such a wonderful part of my life. I'm expecting my new granddaughter to be like a gift from heaven. It was so much fun planning a baby shower for her and selecting lots of pretty pink items.

I raised three sons and one daughter so am very pleased to be getting another girl in our family. This new little baby girl will be dearly loved by her grandparents, parents, aunt and uncles. I hope she will always feel that love as she is growing up.

I'm very anxious to meet my granddaughter, Cecilia.
