WORLD CUP CHAMPS 3

The last two days saw Indian cricket on top of the world. The Colts brought home the cup …the same in which the senoiors had put up a miserable show.
The seniors created history and winning this series was an immense satisfaction….facing all the racial sledging and biased umpiring.

But the colts should have been rewarded better….as many of them might never play for the country again….Rs.15/- lakh was too less an amount …after all they brought home the world cup…..not just any ordinary series win.

The seniors now have to concentrate and not get carried away with teh amount most of them will be getting to play the new league matches.

Sachin has another 2 or 3 good years in him.He has to look at his fitness and if needed concentrate on only one form of the game.He can definetly look at the 20- 20 version in all aspects.

Australia got one back …….a dose of their own medicine … the younger generation of Indian cricket stood up to them…..and showed that cricket was no longer a gentelman’s game……..u just get what u give.

The youger generation of Indian cricket is from the smaller towns also….and it looks like everybody is going to get good exposure in the comming years. The influx of foreign cricketers to play in Indian is going to lif the general level of cricketing standards to new heights. No other country inthe world is mgetting such exposure that India is getting. There is county cricket in England ,…but never has it got this level of coverage.

BUt who is going to benifit in the end …what does the comman man get from this……the money which is flowwing into cricket …will atleast a portion of it do any good to the comman man…..will any portion of it be used for the developement of the comman tax payer…..or will th Ambanis nad Mallaya just get more richer and will up their coffers to the brim. The government should bring in a law that a portion of the money has to be used for charitable societies, also teh forign cricketers should not carry away all the dollers from Indioa a portion has to be spent in India.
