My Birthday

It’s my day,
It’s my birthday,
I was born today,
And all thanks to my Mother,
Who is very near,
Who is do dear,
Who took pain,
In return she had a wonderful gain,
In giving me birth,
And me bringing me out on this earth.

I am writing this poem because I am celebrating my birthday on Thursday. I was born in the year 78 and that too after Ramnavmi. So according to Hindu calendar my birthday is after Ramnavmi and according to English calendar on 17th April. Thanks for your blessings in advance. I hope I continue writing good poems this way. My Nani (Mom's aunty) used to wish me according to Hindu Calendar.
