SWEET ROTI :

FOR 6 ROTI”S

INGREDIENTS :

1/1/2 GUPS OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
1/2 CUP OF GRATED JAGGERY
2 TBSP OF GHEE
1 TSP OF TIL
1 PINCH OF SALT

METHOD :

MELT THE JAGGERY FIRST ON LOW FLAME. SEE THAT THE JAGGERY DOES NOT BURN . WHEN THE JAGGERY BECOMES LIQUIDY ALLOW IT COOL SLIGHTLY THAN MAKE A DOUGH WITH ALL THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS . THE DOUGH SHOULD BE FIRM . KEEP THE DOUGH ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES THAN DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO 6 EQUAL PORTIONS & STRAT ROLLING THEM INTO MEDUIM SIZED ROTIS . HEAT A TAVA & THAN COOK THE ROTIS BY APPLYING GHEE ON BOTH THE SIDES OF ROTI . REMOVE THE ROTI FROM THE TAVA WHEN IT TURNS SLIGHTLY BROWN. THE ROTI CAN BE CONSUMED WITH SWEET CURDS OR WITH MILK CREAM.
