FOR 4 PARATHAS

INGREDIENTS

175 GMS OF WHEAT FLOUR

50 GMS OF RICE

2 TSP RED CHILI POWDER

2 TSP GARAM MASLA

2 TSP MANGO POWDER

2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER

5 TBSP OF GHEE

SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE

METHOD :-

– BOIL THE RICE . DRAIN OUT THE WATER & ALLOW IT TO COOL .

– PREPARE A SOFT DOUGH OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR & ALLOW IT TO REST FOR AT LEAST HALF AN HOUR .

– ONCE THE RICE HAS COOLED ADD ALL THE MASALAS TO IT .

– DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO 4 EQUAL PORTIONS.

– TAKE EACH PORTION OF DOUGH & ROLL OUT TO MEDIUM SIZE CIRCLE . THAN ON THE CENTRE OF EACH CIRCLE PUT THE RICE APPLY LITTLE GHEE & SPRINKLE WHEAT FLOUR & THAN PUT THE RICE STUFFING.

– FOLD THE CIRCLE & AGAIN ROLL OUT INTO MEDIUM SIZE PARATHA

– HEAT A TAVA & COOK EACH PARATHA BY APPLYING GHEE ON BOTH SIDES . REMOVE THE PARATHA FROM TAVA WHEN IT IS DONE FROM BOTH THE SIDES.

– CHAVAL KA PARATHA IS SERVED HOT WITH CURD OR MIRCHI KA ACHAAR.
