Indian Squad for ODI series 2

Hi friends, Indian cricket team will finish its test series on Jan 28 and the Commonwealth Tri Series between India, Sri Lanka & Australia will start from Feb 1st 2008. The selectors have recently announced the ODI series without the completion of Test series which is bad on the part of selectors in my view.

The announced team for the Commonwealth Tri Series of the Indian team is given below: M.S.Dhoni (Captain), Yuvaraj Singh (Vice Captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Robin Uthappa, Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, S. Sreesanth, R.P.Singh, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthick, Piyush Chawla, Pravin Kumar, Standbys: Munaf Patel, Manoj Tiwari & Yusuf Pathan…

Rahul Dravid, V.V.S.Laxman, W.Jaffer & S. Ganguly were replaced with new young players. Anil Kumble retired from ODI format of cricket after the World Cup 2007. The bengal citizens who are already protesting for not selecting S.Ganguly. No sporting spirit exists in bengalis. Even Rahul Dravid was not selected & V.V.S.Laxman is better player against the Australians but he too was not selected no protests are from Hyderabad & Bangalorians then why the hell this cry in Bengal. My question to bengalis for how many years does Mr.Dada will play for India?

One should give way to new players which Dravid & Ganguly did in sporting manner. But the audiences are so senseless and give regional importance more than team spirit. Indian team won T20 World Cup without the big names like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and S. Ganguly & V.V.S.Laxman. Rohit Sharma & Gautham Gambhir played superbly in the T 20 World Cup. So the selectors done the right thing by selecting new players & fielding department is stronger now. I wish the new look Indian team all the best. I pray to god that Yuvaraj Singh come into form.

with lots of love
