Young champs- will they make?

Good to see India winning the under- 19 world cup and young cricketers being prepared . But how many of the young boys will b able to make a place in Indian team and more importantly will they b able to maintain it?

Lets have a flashback in 2000 where India won d U-19 WC. The few famous players of that team were Yuvi, Kaif, Ajay Ratra, Reetinder Sodhi and Venugopal Rao.

Yuvi is d only player able to maintain in ODI team and is appoined as d vice caption of the team. BUt he is still not sure of his place in d tests.

Kaif played a alot for India before losing his place in Team.He is still struggling to make a come back in India squad.

Ajay Ratra was a natural wicket keeper and a useful batsman. He played 6 tests and 12 ODIs. He has been discarded even by Haryana.

Reetinder Sodhi, all rounder, who was the man of d match in that final of WC has played 18 ODIs has been flattered to decieve.

Rao played 16 ODIs before losing his place.
